Browser Stickers ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the service:

Device ID: A randomly generated identifier stored locally in your browser. This is used solely to verify your premium status. It is never linked to your identity.
Email address: Collected only when you make a purchase through Stripe. We receive this from Stripe after a successful payment to associate your purchase with a device ID.
Sticker data: Your sticker positions, labels, and layout are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. We do not transmit this data to our servers.
Bookmark data: When you import bookmarks, they are read directly from your browser and never sent to our servers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not track your browsing history.
We do not read the contents of websites you visit.
We do not collect analytics about which stickers you use.
We do not sell your data to any third party.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to information you provide during checkout. After a successful payment, Stripe shares only your email address with us for purchase confirmation purposes.

4. Data Storage

Your sticker layout and settings are stored locally using the Chrome Extension Storage API (chrome.storage.local). A minimal record consisting of your device ID and email (if purchased) is stored in our database solely to verify premium status.

5. Third-Party Services

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
Supabase — backend database for premium verification. Supabase Privacy Policy
OpenMoji — emoji artwork served via CDN. No user data is shared.
Google Favicon Service — used to fetch website icons when importing bookmarks. Your browser makes a direct request to Google's servers for this purpose.

6. Children's Privacy

Browser Stickers is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
